Carla Maffioletti’s versatile artistry is in constant movement. In the beautiful Swiss town of Lucerne, during two seasons, she performed some of classical highlights and dream roles like Musetta, Zerbinetta, Contessa de Folleville, Johanna, Héro, and with great acclamation the world première of the opera Die Antilope from Johannes Maria Staud after the Libretto of Durs Grünbein in the role of the Sculpture.
Carla Maffioletti has travelled the whole world on concert tours for more than 10 years as one of the prominent soloist of the violinist and classical superstar André Rieu. One could say many of her best known arias like: Les Oiseaux dans la Charmille from the opera Tales of Hoffmann, in which she plays a windup doll, were sung more than 1000 times, which opera singer has this record? Carla Maffioletti’s extreme high notes and charisma has a legacy of video performances that made her famous for a lifetime.
On 2017 she presents her first European Solo Tour, an entirely self made, sung, played and presented show. Portraying her not only as a singer, but as a classical guitarist, composer, arranger and stage designer. The brand new concert tour is called “A Dream”. From January on Dutch, Belgium and German Theaters.
